UAE laws regarding Animals:
Ever noticed how laws are fabricated for other species too? Bringing a pet along with you is no big of a deal in the UAE it just requires a few formalities that you have to follow:- A good health certificate
- Vaccination certificate
- Pets should be micro chipped.
- it should always have a name tag : Stray cats and dogs are routinely caught by Dubai Municipality. Any pet without an ID disc is treated as a stray, held for 8 days and put to sleep if not claimed by an owner
- Dogs should be kept in a lead
- Cleaning up after your pet
- Dogs not allowed in parks or beaches, however there are other places to take them for walks like some lakes.
- If animals are mistreated they will be fined from 5,000 dhs to 20,000 dhs.
